There's a guy two posts ^^ who has two kids and wants/needs one.
I'm with you though, we've got two kids and the X5 7-seater is all we'll ever need. And that includes for sports like cycling, skiing and kayaking.
These bigger classes, like the GL, are squarely aimed at the US market though. Our roads and urban infrastructure is not well suited to cars this big. A lot of Asian and European cities would struggle too.
