Seems like most other manufacturers are also saving a few cents on each windshield by eliminating the tint strip. Even the Maybach doesn't have it.
I also don't believe the Bugatti Veyron has it either. Oh well, that car only costs at least 1M.
I will give GM some credit since the Corvette and some Cadillacs still have the tint strip. Porsche also still uses it on their vehicles.
