Our previous vehicle was a 2016 X5 and anytime the 4 of us needed to drive somewhere longer than 30 minutes it was torturous.
The 7 series solved the problem for us. Only other option would've been a long wheelbase Range Rover or possibly an S-Class.

The difference is the 2nd row in the x7 can be pushed back completely if the 3rd row is down to accommodate even tall people. The x5 can’t.
