From my point of view the M3 is still a 3 series (yeah, I know about what parts it borrows from the regular 3)- and upwards of $70K for a 3 series is nuts. If that's what evolves, the only good choice in this price range is a 911. Or, you can go the other way and buy the 335i - much better price value.
