This is just icing on the cake... With the bitter disappointment that the M2 is turning out to be, I also will not be buying any new BMW until they have the option to remove or disable Active Sound (without disabling your whole sound system). If I want to hear the engine, I'll roll the damn window down. I do not ever want anything fake on my car. I don't care if it's the real engine being amplified electronically, I think it's stupid and fake and lame. And (when they mention it at all) acting like it's a "feature", uugh...
People don't like fake. Big time fail BMW.
