M-DCT and ZF AT are within a few kilos of each other so weight isn’t a significant downgrade with the AT. Manual/paddle shift feel though is and possibly less retained momentum on full throttle upshifts. Not sure how much that matters if it accelerates a lot quicker.
Some added stop and go civility is likely welcome for some as a give and take. I’ll need to drive it before I hate on it. It’s not going to be comparable to a slush box of the E36 era though, that is for certain
