I got a production # about two weeks after order date but thats because i hadn't asked for it prior.
They decided to modify an existing order they had for a M3 with my specs so I'd get my car sooner. LOL.
But then in late October apparently, someone at BMW swapped my production # with someone else. This is what my dealer told me which at first I did not believe but it was confirmed by BMW themselves. The # went to someone at a different dealer altogether.
Apparently the Full Sakhir interior is on delay which I confirmed with Golfrrrr here at Bimmerpost. Had I known two months ago I would have gone with a different setup. Perhaps had I gone with the M4 I would have more luck as more of those are being made I think.
My setup is SS on full SO, Exec, Lighting, Adaptive Susp, H and K, 19 blacks.
I'm currently searching the the country for something close. Don't really want a M4 but may get one if I see the right options, but more than likely will stick with this order to get what I want.
