So strange that BMW hasn't fixed what appears to be a long-time omission on the BMWUSA website. Specifically, we know the 2020 X7 40i can be produced with the B&W audio option, but this option is not listed on the BMWUSA 40i configurator.

Tonight, I was just doing my usual putzing around the web, as I tend to do when dreaming of my future X7 purchase. (and killing time with this stupid crisis, as I'm stuck in lockdown in New Delhi, India, with the country closed while I've been working over here)

The configurator has the Harman Kardon audio box checked by default, under options, for $0. No B&W listed, as mentioned. For the heck of it, I unchecked the Harman Kardon box, and the MSRP went UP by $3400, which is the exact cost of B&W. Going back to the "Interior" tab, and looking at the 360 fullscreen view, it shows the B&W audio. When I went to the final summary page, no audio option is listed at all, but this at least seems to unlock the configuration for B&W on 40i.
