I just got an email from my dealer about the ignition coils on my E90 325i. Thought I should share the info.

> Morristown BMW is committed to delivering the ultimate in product
> and service satisfaction to you, our customer. We became aware
> of a potential problem that could affect the Ignition Coils in your
> vehicle. We invite you to stop in at Morristown BMW at your
> earliest convenience, in order to inspect the coils in your vehicle. To
> make this process as convenient as possible, there is no
> appointment necessary. We just ask for your patience for
> approximately 30 or 35 minutes, while we inspect and/or replace
> the effected components.

Hopefully all of your dealers are doing something about this.

From the limited knowledge I have about how cars run, this could have the potential to be something big.
