I'm running Blizzak RM-22RFT on stock 17's for my winter tires. They were outstanding this winter. We get a fair amount of snow here in Salt Lake City, and I had no problems. The dry traction is better than the stock all-season tires. Driving up the canyons to the ski resorts was a non-issue, even in completely snow covered (24-36" of snow overnight, partially cleared) roads.
