Makes me wonder if the extended warranty or maintenance plan is even needed, but I do know things tend to need more work once they get past initial warranty. Which they would keep it longer so we could see how it holds up.

I needed one on my X5 but I also probably drive a bit harder than they do. I'm about to be on tired set #3 (the first ones got retired at 8k miles due to raid debris killing one).
