This.

I had this happen a year or so ago.
Trashed my 6th cylinder coil/plug. Had a little pool of oil in there. And of course my Eccentric Shaft Sensor got trashed too.

Wont take terribly long to get in there and inspect it for yourself.

Disregard last sentence... oops.

Edit 2: Did you check the plug for your Eccentric Shaft Sensor?
May have oil in there... I know that caused the timing to be retarded and my idle reflected it.
It was bad enough to make the car die if I didn't give it some gas at a dead stop.
