What do you plan on doing for a cargo box solution? The roof rails are raised so that should give some flexibility to use the various Thule cross bars (and boxes) but nothing has been officially approved and tested by Thule to assure compatibility with the sunroof.
BMW is listing their raised cross bars as compatible so I guess those could work with the Thule boxes and at a minimum the BMW branded boxes (the biggest of which is 520L, 18 cubic ft).

I have the factory tow hitch,so if i do need more storage space,i will probably buy one of those tow hitch carriers.
