You apparently missed the art cars. I think the BMW fans on this site have talked at length about the various class rules frustrating BMW's efforts. There's also been some pretty unlucky breaks but the team seems to have turned it around. I think today's showing highlights that.
The topic was also in advance of the race and was a simple acknowledgement of the cars new look, not race results.
But sure, taking off the cuff jokes as evidence us dolts can only comprehend paint schemes makes sense too.
