If you didn't watch this race, you really missed a great one. There were so many two & three wide nail-biters, plus a couple that went south (sorry Corvette Racing ). The full race should be up on the IMSA YouTube channel in a day or two.

Thrilled to see BMW take P1 and P2. I'm hopeful they don't BoP the car in to oblivion. The lap times were incredibly close. If you haven't seen it already Alkamel Systems (the official IMSA timing provider) has a ton of data about the races on their IMSA portal:

The Lap Chart is super cool:

That shows you the order for each lap, which really gives a sense of how much competition there was at this race. Porsche love to lye in wait and pour it on at the end of races. Pilet in particular seems able to pull a rabbit out of a hat. If it weren't for the #911's fuel pressure issues, we would definitely have seen a different outcome, but hey, that's racing. How many times have we seen BMW in striking distance, only to have a brake failure, gearbox blow up, or whatever?

At the end of it all, it was a very good day for BMW/RLL!
