My new 14 M5 should be in next week. One thing i have not decided on is if i should purchase an extended warranty. I have purchased prepaid maintenance. I intend on keeping the m5 for 5-6 years.

My dealer has quote me the following prices.

Platinum: $5590
Gold: $4950
Power train plus: $3210


Any thoughts or experience with break downs between 50,000 and 100,000 miles? is the warranty worth it?
