I think it's a good introduction and helps add perspective, but I often feel like over-stimulating a new lifter with abundant amounts of information tends to have more of a negative effect than a positive (..
not saying that NROL does that in particular). I think simplicity is much more effective in the beginning. I try to stress dietary and exercise consistency first and foremost, and I stress biomechanics/ROM.
