By "this" you mean the unnamed concept car, I assume.
The reason they won't call it a Z8 or even "Concept Z8" for that matter is because that's not what it is. It is (almost surely) a car to preview the upcoming Z4.

They aren't selling concept cars though, they are selling production cars.
And the production car will have an entry model with a 200hp I4 (not for US sale), have appointments befitting a car in the $50k-starting range, and be produced with the goal of maximizing sales, not creating something exclusive and rare.
