Dr Jones,...you may go insane trying to figure out all the potential places that have Ivy 'oil' on them. I think the stuff actually spreads on your body a bit without any further contact,..bloodstream maybe? I had it early this summer, and know for a fact that I didnt have any secondary physical contact with the plant or oil, yet I was finding new "spots" on my leg for 2 weeks. They eventually got less and less over time.
My wife is really allergic to that stuff, so Ive become somewhat of an expert.
Ive heard any "oil cutting" soap solution like shampoo,dawn dishwashing liquid,...etc will work well to remove the oil after initial contact also, but Technu is made for this purpose.
