The GLS is the main competitor to the X/, it's been established in the market for years and I am sure MB, like in previous years and new BMW launches will offer extremely aggressive programs to not let BMW eat away at their market share.

The X7 has one decisive advantage over the GLS for its core constituency (families with 3+ kids): Bucket seats in 2nd row which are still not available for GLS (mind blowing that MB hasn't introduced that yet).

I have a GLS450 with a sticker of $81k. My lease is $875 a month on 36/10 with $5k at signing. There is just no way, BMW will get customers like me with this offer.

The initial wave of hard core loyalists that will get the latest BMW no matter the price is not what makes a model successful and profitable.

BMW is more than five years late to the game ;-(
The GLS450 looks doesn't compare to an X7 MSport. Mb should definitely consider offering the AMG kit on the 450s.
