I remember when bmw came to our store, in one of the videos that they showed us, I remember a moment where they said there was going to be an edrive version as well. Just like the X5, I assume will be coming shortly after it's initial release if they haven't canned the idea.
I personally would never buy a Tesla because of its really cheap interior materials. For that price I don't want to feel like I'm driving a Toyota/Lexus. If an all electric car is the goal and you can look past the cheap interior then the Tesla is a good fit.
