The Taycan and Model S aren't even comparable. The Porsche wipes the floor with it. Sure the range is similar or a bit less, but you have a legitimate driver's car that can launch endlessly without losing power, can lap a track, and has impeccable build quality.
Porsche knows what they're doing, and unlike Tesla they know how to turn a profit. As for the Turbo moniker, that adheres to tradition and resonates with consumers. What else would they have named it?
