Issue you may not thought of

18 inch tires in a 30 series do not have a load rating to carry the forces the Mcars produce.

Weight yes but not weight + lateral G's + HP combo. Even those hoosier slicks are for a lighter car.

You'll need a 35 series to be safe running at high speed corning. Main issue is the higher RPM's the smaller tire turns creates heat and you don't want excess heat in a tire with load on it.

Take some time a pick the right tire combo.
