Years ago I had a $3500 set of Momo's on my car, along with 2 different sets of lug nut locks.
They still got my rims... Of course, they took the whole car out of a parking lot, up to a deserted street nearby, and spent the time getting my rims. The PD found my car the very next day, in almost perfect shape, with nothing else missing but the rims.
I say "
in almost prefect shape" because they were kind enough to drop the car on its brake rotors & drums once they got the rims off. So there was some damage that needed repairing. I think that was their "
F- you, smartass" gift to me.
Yeah, insurance covered it all. And I haven't been tempted by aftermarket rims since. But I do still use lug nut locks... You want these rims? Go find another stock car like mine and take theirs!
