Unfortunately, you're going to either eat up your pads (soft pads=more dust) or your rotors (hard pads=less dust but more rotor wear). Similarly, you can either use your transmission or brakes to slow down the car. I rather deal with dust and pads, than rotors and transmissions, but that's just me. Good day.
