Agree, can't unsee Hyundai Sanata Fe when I see it. Also not a fan of the ambient light graphics, look a bit cheesy, would have preferred a simple strip of lighting.
Hadn't thought of the Hyundai Santa Fe, but certainly another Hyundai model or two along with the Nissan Rogue. Chevrolet has been doing this as well. Surprised that BMW is chasing other manufacturers' designs rather than being original.

The appearance of ID.8 notwithstanding, there are some reviews out there about its lagginess and relatively unintuitive menu layout. For me, the integration of climate controls with fewer hard buttons is a deal killer. Volkswagen is taking all kinds of heat for that in the new Golf/GTI. Not saying ID.8 isn't better than VW, but why cheapen the controls on an $85k+ vehicle?
A customer came in to see bc she complained of lag and wanted to cancel her IX order there's no lag made a second to pull up certain screens that have more things to feature but it's not as bad as people make it seem to be
