I am almost positive that Apple maps doesn't have satellite view in CarPlay. Do you have your traffic switch on? If you go to the i icon make sure that is checked. I am assuming this works? Can't test it myself until tomorrow. |
If that is true about it not working in car play then that would explain it. I do have traffic checked on. I toggled it back and forth a few times and it wouldn't show the traffic on the i-drive screen.
