I assume it has nothing to do with turbo, since that lag goes away after I shift AT to S mode. It may be bcoz of today's fashion for excessive fuel economy, a slight delay may be programmed as standard to launch the car more gradually, even when you hit the gas harder. This contributes to better numbers in fuel economy as a daily driver IMHO.
