I'm hoping and expecting that level of refinement and 7-series luxury, which to me would mean maybe a $80k starting cost. If it really were to be $100k to start, you're talking extra-niche and likely out of my reach.

There's no way the X7 is going to start at US$100k!
The base model six cylinder xdrive40i is going to start somewhere between $80k-$85k.
The V8-engine xDrive50i model is the one going to start somewhere between $96k-$100k. Anyway, we'll get to know for sure in a few more days
