I agree - it’s a completely different experience from an ICE vehicle and these are only truly the first generation Tesla’s.
Personally the interior has no character for me. When you get into a BMW it’s lined with premium leather, plastics, alcantara, colored stitching and more. The dash/nav screen, climate controls and even iDrive controller have a sense of design and quality about it. The new single screen design in the i4 worries me as it’s a step away from the design cues in the current BMW’s. Kind of bland like Mercedes Benz tried the last few years by integrating a lot of the climate controls into the touch screen which sucks for many reasons.
Tesla has a lot of work to do to catch up to the quality of work being produced at BMW, although Tesla owners will say otherwise lol
