Well I did the update today with success at my house. Although, as a precaution I strategically parked my X7 in my driveway for easy access for a flatbed should my X7 have become bricked. Update took approx 10 min with all systems functional once complete. The only "glitch" I noticed was that the apps did not work right away. All apps were present in the menu, but for about a minute or so after the update was complete, when clicking on an app, it did not do anything. Also, during this period I noticed that some of the app icons flickered a bit - definitely a bit weird. However, after that minute or so, all apps opened normally and the flickering stopped.

I did not go for a drive after the update so I don't know what, if any, new features or bug fixes may be in the update. I am curious if one bug in particular was fixed, which is the steering wheel heat coming on with remote start when the steering wheel heat is not supposed to come on based on the climate rules setting. If that bug is not fixed, my dealer already told me I could come in for a warranty update when 11/2020 is released - which technically should be out now.
