Thanks. This is helpful. Still hoping for a warm snap (and dry!) but at least will try to plan my driving when temps have gotten over 35F or so, and will be taking it easy regardless.
If it's looking really bad/questionable we'll just skip Asheville and come straight home from PCD, but we're looking forward to a quick weekend away.
