Gas vs Diesel?...............
Sorry if already discussed ad nauseum. Has anyone crunched the numbers? I have the 2007 X5 3.0 and was thinking of getting the new diesel. I realize it depends a lot on the price of gas but at what point does the higher cost of diesel outweigh the better mileage? City is most of my miles so I would love to get better mpg around town. Right now I get about 18 in the X5 and 15 in the M3! Not so bad right now with $1.75 gas but who knows what oil will do going forward.
