I test drive a 35d and 30si back to back... and found the d to be noisy... in engine..

Torque is nice... to get the car going... but mainly a Family car for me.. and noise is more concern then power. If i want power.. I just drive my E92 335i.

30si is slow.. and smooth.. i couldn't get it to kick down...to accelerate.. but.. than again.. when I am driving x5.. its with my family....
