The only 2.x 0-60 cars that i’ve actually launched are the GTR and the F90 M5. It does get kind of old after awhile. I get sucked into the arguments about who has bragging rights too, but if i really try to think rationally - as someone who doesn’t street or drag race, these numbers have no real use to me.
I agree that Ring times are much better measures of who builds the most all-around performance car, but to paraphrase something James May once said, a car built for Ring times is going to be a shit car on the road.
I feel like my measurements on what constitutes a great car are starting to gravitate towards the intangibles - its design, how it sounds, how analog it feels vs digital. But good luck trying to measure all of those for bragging rights purposes, lol
