I was told that the regular lights have cornering-lights as well.

If you have the lights in Auto, drive at low speeds and make a sharp turn, check the outer side of the corner you are turning into.

You should be able to see an additional area that's being illuminated.

Remember, I had them in the Q7. Start you turn and the lights come on. They haven't yet in th X7. I was hoping there's a setting.

Cornering lights are not included with the standard Full Adaptive LED headlights on 40i's.

See last photo and highlighted area:
On X7s, only Adaptive Full LED headlight with Laserlight, which is currently only available on M50i, include LED cornering light.
