There's a few threads on this topic. Bottom line, some early LCI builds were sitting in QC for weeks. Some for hours. And BMW will NOT tell anyone why. It's just their policy. Anything a dealer tells you as to why it's being held up is speculation and/or to put your mind at ease, for a few more days. All you can do is be patient.
