While I completely agree from a personal point of view, i see why they've done this. We are a minority market, not much of the world understands the need to have such a bumpy, snorting, heavy to drive car. I bet they are just making sure they dont make the same business mistake twice and end up having to offer huge discounts on them AGAIN because they couldnt move them to the general public who simply don't appreciate something as seat-of-your-pants as the Z4M. My only fear is that BMW really took a risk with the Z4M and it probably didn't pay off for them financially, at least in the US. Perhaps it's the end of an era of purpose built, cut down, old skool style BMW 2 seaters.
