Early in this year's track season I did two track days at Watkins Glen with my completely stock M2. As I previously reported, the OEM brake pads are not up to the task if you are an advanced HPDE driver. My OEM pads left a series of lumpy deposits on my rotors. The deposits were so bad that it felt like I warped the rotors.

Based on advice from this board, I upgraded to Pagid RS29s for my next track days. Much to my chagrin, the new pads did not immediately cure the problem. However, I'm pleased to report that the problem is finally resolved. In fact, over the past few weeks, I've had very smooth brakes both on track and off the track. In fact, yesterday I switched back to OEM street pads and my brakes are super smooth.

Take my advice and don't run OEM pads on track with the M2. The pain of resolving the issue I had took way too long.
