Regarding the deposits, if you use the track/race pads for regular street driving, for a day or two following the event, so they are outside their operating temp (cold), they will resurface the rotors and "clean" any bedded pad material from the rotors before you swap back to your street pads. This the SOP I used w/my M4 (gray iron rotor standard brakes...same as the M2) and I have had very good luck w/the original factory rotors for 15+ track events. I used factory pads for DD and Pagid RSL-1 and RS-29 for the race track...swapped in/out for each event. No brake deposits/judder when following the approach I mention. Good luck!
