Yeah, some members here are now reporting that their vehicles are being delivered without gesture control included. I think they're getting a whopping $190 credit. I love how BMW charges upwards of $6,000 for some options and packages. Not hard to tack on $20,000+ just in options on an order. But if they don't give you gesture control, they give you a $190 credit.
As for the MY2020 getting the new M50i engine, still not official. But indications are that yes, the X7 is getting the new and bigger 50i engine. See this thread for inside information on multiple future BMW models:
