Nothing wrong with that. There were some iDrive 7 hardware changes from 2019 to 2020 but nothing major unless you need all the bells and whistles. The G05 X5 and G07 X7 were all new vehicles launched in late 2018 for the 2019 model year so in reality they are still rather new platforms.

Not worried about hardware changes. For example this one here is not certified but from a BMW dealer
