Doesn't it say in the owners manual: at a low controlled speed at a safe location to use the emergency brake to slow the car, that this will prime the shoe surface from corrosion.
Also anyone think it's important to engage the ABS on wet pavement periodically to keep the ABS solenoids in top shape.
