crimp connector usually means it's solderless.
So you strip the wire, and crimp it with a connector.
What I'm imagining is that there's some sort of molex plug somewhere connected to a wire harness. You cut the wires, and just replace the plug, and crimp the connections together, put shrink wrap on it, and there you go. Good as new.
