Arrow 2004 BMW x3 2.5i - Fuel Pump

I bought my BMW a few weeks ago in New Jersey. Since then, on very hot days, my car needs to have the key held in the "on" position to start the engine. If the car sits or it is really hot outside, it will have trouble pushing fuel through the lines. It is not the battery, as I have had that checked. I took it to a BMW dealer & had a diagnostic run on it. They detected that the fuel pump was dropping fuel pressure. Basically, it's vapor locking. I paid to have the fuel pump replaced & they also changed the fuel filter. The receipt says it was retested and okay. My car ran fine for a few days, but now it's back to doing the same thing on hot days. I have my car scheduled to go back into the shop on the 1st of September.

Is anyone else having or has anyone else ever had this problem? Do any of you have advice or ideas about what the problem could be?

Thanks in advance!
