When I was removing the valve cover, I forgot to disconnect the battery and during removal I accidentally hit the positive battery terminal with my wrench (could I have shorted something? The 40 amp fuse in the fuse panel is ok.)
I've double checked my work and everything's connected properly.
I'm about to take it to a mechanic but if seems like it should be a simple fix.

Try resetting the eccentric cam adaptions.
