I know this sounds counterintuitive, but when I was running HD's with my stock sport springs the ride was very crash-y. Bumps were harsh and violent. Things like old bridge expansion joints would feel like my dash was about to hit the windshield.

I recently changed over to Swift spec R springs, and have found the impact absorption much less violent. Said expansion joints are still a hit, but with way less crash. Yet the ride is more firm. I chalk that up to better matched damping to spring rates.

Don't think I am suggesting my car drives like a Camry! Lol. My wife hates driving in it.
