My 20" compares to the stock 17" RFT have not suffered any comfort, I feel more the road now.
Performance-wise, It depends on your set up. I have the staggered wheels, 255 front and 285 rear. Pick up may suffer a little compared to the narrower tires but cornering and turning are much better.
