I think what OP is getting at is will the race specific parts be transferable to the M2 and will their relation in platform (being a 2er) mean anything.
Think Porsche GT3 cup parts to GT3 street car. I hope so.
BUT IMHO the M2 will be so significantly different to the 235i/racing that most parts won't sync. Not saying the M2 will not have even better goodies
