I'm trading in when I take delivery tomorrow, and am netting (w sales tax savings) $5k more than what CarMax offered me. It was laughable.
Carvana, though, came within a few hundred of the trade-in net. They contacted me via one of my private sale ads - similar to a number of "selling services" that claimed "demand in the area for vehicles like yours" - but Carvana buys from you directly and will pick the car up at your house (depending on region.) |
